Position : Founding Blockchain Engineer
We are seeking a Lead Blockchain Engineer to join Kubar as a founding member and lead the development of our custom Layer 1 blockchain infrastructure. Your focus will be on building a permissioned blockchain optimized for enterprise-level supply chain financing, enabling secure, scalable transactions powered by deep-tier supply chain insights.
Responsibilities:
- Design & Implement Blockchain Architecture: Develop and deploy a permissioned Layer 1 blockchain using Polkadot's Substrate framework, tailored for secure and efficient supply chain financing transactions.
- Streamline Blockchain Infrastructure: Focus on creating a minimalist blockchain architecture with no complex consensus mechanisms or tokenomics, purely for enterprise use.
- System Integration: Build robust APIs to integrate with ERP systems, account aggregators, and other enterprise data sources, ensuring seamless data flow for financing decisions.
- Enterprise-Grade Security: Ensure high-volume transaction security by implementing advanced encryption protocols and maintaining data privacy.
- Smart Contract Development: Build and implement enterprise-grade smart contracts to automate workflows, streamline credit decisioning, and enhance supply chain financing processes.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with AI, ML, and FinTech teams to ensure smooth data integration and use case implementation, working alongside them without directly handling AI/ML.
Requirements:
- Substrate Expertise: Extensive experience in developing blockchain solutions using Polkadot’s Substrate framework.
- Enterprise Blockchain Solutions: Experience designing and implementing permissioned blockchains focused on enterprise use cases, with integrations to external systems (ERP, financial data platforms).
- Smart Contracts Expertise: Proficiency in developing and deploying smart contracts tailored to automate enterprise workflows and financing processes.
- Security & Scalability Focus: Proven ability to ensure blockchain security, scalability, and data integrity in high-volume enterprise applications.
- Understanding of Supply Chain Financing: Knowledge of or experience working with financial systems and supply chain workflows is a plus.
