About the Role 💻
We’re hiring a dedicated Polkadot content writer! You’ll focus on writing narrative, story-based technical content similar to what you can see in the EasyA app. There’s nothing quite like it, but you can think of EasyA challenges as being like a mix between a coding course, and a fun Duolingo-style challenge. It’s why we’re called the ‘Duolingo for blockchain’!
You’ll also help with crafting hackathon packs, new builder resources etc. Essentially, your task will be to help inspire and teach the next generation of Polkadot developers, all at massive EasyA scale! Your work will be read by hundreds of thousands around the world.
The duration of this role is 3-6 months.
About you 👤
- Passionate about educating developers
- Excited about Polkadot and the potential of its technology
- Confident developing on Polkadot
- Up to date with the latest Polkadot developments, such as Polkadot 2.0 and Plaza (inc discussions around Polkadot Cloud/Hub)
From day 1, you’ll be executing independently and working with us to learn what makes our content tick, as well as how to craft EasyA challenges which developers love.
Application Process 📝
We move fast! This process takes 1-2 weeks approximately.
- 30-minute initial interview with co-founders Phil and Dom
- Written assessment (you’ll be asked to write a mini intro course for a given Polkadot topic in EasyA app format))
- Final 1-hour interview with other relevant EasyA team members
Send over your CV and cover letter with heading ‘Applying for the EasyA x Polkadot Technical Writer role’ to recruitment@easya.co.uk. We’ll then be in touch with next steps!
